Emberhold Chronicles

Emberhold Chronicles is the kind of RPG you settle into for the long haul. You lead a small party across a fractured kingdom, and each character grows through a branching skill tree that genuinely changes how fights play out. My mage build looked nothing like a friend's, and that's the point.

Battles are turn-based, which suits touch controls beautifully. You tap to move, tap to strike, and the game never fumbles your input. There's real weight to positioning too, since enemies flank and heal if you ignore them.

Best of all, the whole campaign is offline. No energy meters, no daily login nagging. You download it once and the adventure is yours to pace however you like.
